Tuesday Night

So... Its a tuesday night. and Im bored. Lately Ive been swamped with a huge midterm paper (7 pages). Ive been trying to start for weeks but always procrastinate. And i finished in two days. If only the deadline was sooner. Anyways... what to do on a tuesday night... youtube? haha.

Hey Everyone, Just wanted to announce my new affiliate... SHIEKH SHOES.

I am now an official Shiekh Music DJ.

I am one of a few DJs spinning for them. Along with me is DJ Sleeper (Red Bull, Adidas, and RAM), DJ BEN (ABDC's Super Cr3w), and DJ Carisma (Power 106). With that in mind... I will be spinning tomorrow Saturday, March 2o, at the Topanga Mall location in Canoga Park, CA. Come visit me. I will be spinning from 12-3pm. Also I will be spinning with Shiekh Music at World of Dance in Pomona on April 10th at the Shiekh Stage. So be on the lookout for that.

I was just watching 2012 for an essay Im writing for class, and I must say... I love the movie. I loved the effects, Its by the same director from Independence Day & The Day After, so its really good. Great directing for catastrophes. Here's the trailer...

This Sunday I'll be spinning at Pig N Whistle in Hollywood along with DJ Skwig-L. I'll be spinning the primetime set, with opening sounds by DJ Skwig-L. So catch me in the mix most likely from 11pm-1am. Be sure to say Top Flight at the Door. This will be a red carpet event be ready to see some celebs in the building. Two movies I really want to watch....

Random...

So... I barely update this, lol. Running out of stuff to write. Haha. So... the valley is super hot right now, first off. Second... umm I dunno, check out the myspace.com/djceeej - I have an updated calendar, doing lots of gigs coming up. A huge one will be the 30th at Ecco in Hollywood. So watch out for that. Las Vegas Continued

LAS VEGAS...

So... I stayed at the Hilton. Went up with the family for AAU Basketball tournaments. Since my Dad runs Hooptown Basketball, which is comprised of mainly filipino american players.

Heres a documentary on them...

Anyway, they usually compete in AAU tournaments, since there a traveling team. And Vegas is the go to destination. So... the drive which is usually 4.5 hours, turned out to be 3. Thats when you go leave the valley at 11pm. and get there at 2. with one pit stop for gas at the nevada landing. That and you have to drive 100+mph on some parts of the way. Haha.

Upon arriving, we went straight to the Hilton. Then we left around 3AM to meet up with some friends at the Luxor. So me and the girlfriend went. We walked directly into the Luxor Casino, then to a bar. Ten seconds later, me and the girlfriend get carded. Mine worked, the girlfriend, had a hole in her card, so we left and covered the hole.

P.S. Above is a picture of the strip. Everything looks close in Vegas. Its not. So dont choose to walk. Haha. Then off the Excallibur, where it worked, Then to New York New York, We got carded maybe 30 times during the three day span. Worked everytime. Nice. Bought alcohol, and gambled, and all. Good stuff. Watched some basketball games, and all was good. Got drunk every night. Went on adventures. Fun trip. Next time.... we must go to Tao. Clubbing is a must. Hopefully by the time Im 21. I'll have a residency in Vegas. Hopefully. Lets do it. One step at a time.

Shotouts to Junior & Bobby over at www.STAACK.us who wrote a blog piece on me. Good looks. I am now an official DJ and affiliate for STAACK. So watch out for some big things coming from the both of us.

STAACK was recently started Junior and Bobby. They are already an up and coming group and creating quite a buzz throughout Long Beach and the Hollywood club scene. They're based in Long Beach, CA and specialize in photography from event coverage to personal portfolios. However, they have been expanding their outlook to cover more aspects of urban lifestyle by keeping an up-to-date blog, where they showcase our perspective on anything and everything. This is just the start of something big, as we have huge plans for the future. EDC 2009!!!

Amazing night. I went the second night. 90,000 people reportedly. Traffic everywhere, long lines, strict security, lots of people, people traffic.... then an amazing carnival. It was pritty hard to even get onto the main floor in kinetic field. ehh blah blah blah. Im kinda lazy due to the heat out in the valley so.... just watch. EDC 2010. It is a must. Ehh maybe I'll write more. But yea. These were the highlights of EDC in my opinion, I wish I was there to see DJ AM. But anyway, next year I wanna go both days, and early. I cant wait. Next rave... possibly nocturnal or monster. Well see... But yea... videos....
